Since 2001 we have run this website, and our related tennis activities and programs, without any cost to anyone to join or participate. Many have suggested that we introduce an annual fee to cover our costs and time to run this program. We strongly prefer to have this remain free.

Running this website does come with costs. We pay monthly and annual fees for a variety of services that make this all possible. Additionally, we put 20 to 30 hours per month of our time toward this community tennis program.

In late 2008 we started using Google to run small advertisements on this website. The hope was to provide an unobtrusive way to provide a small bit of revenue to offset some of our costs and time.

We get paid nothing for having the ads show on our site. Instead, we earn credits when these ads are clicked. Once certain thresholds are met, we get paid for these credits. In the end, each click of an ad on this site typically will earn us between 2 and 20 cents, depending on which ad is clicked.

If you see an ad that you feel is inappropriate or offensive, please let us know, as we have the ability to block specific advertisers. We have used this on occasion, especially during election season.
